1. What's something you wanted to do this summer that you
never got around to doing?
Well since Summer is still a few
months away here is my Winter answer, take a snow holiday
2. Were you the student who sat in the front row or hid in
the back of the class? If you could go back and take one high school class
again just for fun, which would it be?
I always sat at the front and try
to look like I was paying attention, mostly I wasn’t. It would be a cold day in
hell before I would return to school
3. What characteristics do you think are essential in a good
teacher (this can be applied to anyone who teaches, not just classroom
teachers)?
Patience
4. September 2nd is National Grits Day. Have you ever
eaten grits? Are you a fan? If so how do you like yours? Would people describe
you as 'having grit'?
Nope heard of the dish through
movies and TV shows but no idea of what it is
5. What's something you're never too old or too young to
enjoy?
Something that makes you laugh
6. Insert your own random thought here
When looking in a mirror while
brushing your teeth or hair, tell yourself you are who you are and if people
have an problem with that, remember it is their problem not yours.
Oh I feel the same way about going back to high school! You said it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not alone
Delete5. Any activity that four people can sit at a square table and play eg card games, board games. Even if your hips or ankles hurt, the social life and intellectual stimulation are great.
ReplyDeleteYeah that sounds good
DeletePatience is a wonderful characteristic we all need, no matter what our calling in life. But for teachers, they need a large supply of it!
ReplyDeleteThat they do
DeleteGrits is basically Creme of Wheat dressed up. Did you have Creme of Wheat?
ReplyDeleteNope we don't have cream of wheat
DeleteI don't have any desire to return to high school either. Grits is a lot like cream of wheat or maybe polenta, although not usually as thick as polenta. I think as I get older I'm much more comfortable with who I am. Hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeleteI am doing well and I am pleased I don't have to go to school
