September's first Hodgepodge

Hi everyone, here is the latest hodgepodge

http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/2026/08/hodgepodge-questions-volume-669.html

From this Side of the Pond

1. What's something you wanted to do this summer that you never got around to doing?

Well since Summer is still a few months away here is my Winter answer, take a snow holiday

2. Were you the student who sat in the front row or hid in the back of the class? If you could go back and take one high school class again just for fun, which would it be?

I always sat at the front and try to look like I was paying attention, mostly I wasn’t. It would be a cold day in hell before I would return to school

3. What characteristics do you think are essential in a good teacher (this can be applied to anyone who teaches, not just classroom teachers)?

Patience

4.  September 2nd is National Grits Day. Have you ever eaten grits? Are you a fan? If so how do you like yours? Would people describe you as 'having grit'?

Nope heard of the dish through movies and TV shows but no idea of what it is

5. What's something you're never too old or too young to enjoy?

Something that makes you laugh

6. Insert your own random thought here

When looking in a mirror while brushing your teeth or hair, tell yourself you are who you are and if people have an problem with that, remember it is their problem not yours.
