Tuesday's 4 and Daylight

Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4, who can be found here: https://lemonscottage.blogspot.com/

Daylight is getting longer... what do you do with the extra daylight?  Is it useful, productive or not?

Well since I am in Australia, we are heading into winter, but when we do have daylight saving it has no effect on my life.

If you live where its more moderate do you spend more time outdoors?  If you live in the tropical climate, does it keep you inside?

I no longer spend much time outside

Does the extra day light cause more heat and more use of utilises for you?

It makes no difference to me

How do you cool your home?  How do you cool yourself off in the heat of the day?

Right now, my house is damn cold, and I have the heater going

Do you enjoy a good barbeque outside in the warmer months or do you cook outside and eat inside?

When I was younger, I liked a BBQ now days the only time I have a BBQ is at my brother’s house for our siblings Christmas gathering.

What foods do you enjoy on the barbeque?    If you don't barbeque, what foods and drinks do you enjoy in the warmer months?

I love BBQ snags and chicken

  1. I was surprised to heara your house is very cold. Do you live in Southern Australia? I've also never heard of a BBQ snag so I looked it up and I see it's a sausage. Grilled sausages are nice and tasty. Take care and enjoy your week.

  2. India, though quite vast geographically, has one time zone. So, no confusion and adjusting of clocks!
Bengaluru, where I stay, doesn't get as hot as some other cities. We use the fan.

  3. Daylight Savings is wonderful when we are still employed. No rush to get home early but plenty of time to chop up salads and carry plates of cold meat or fish to eat outside. Cold wine can be sipped slowly :)

After retirement, each day and evening looks much the same :(

  4. The only problem I have with daylight saving time is it's effects on my health. Otherwise, it's fine. Thanks for joining in!!

  5. I'm not outside much anymore, either. Daylight Savings Time messes me up for a while. Never used to when I was younger.

  6. The earlier daylight used to affect how early we took our weekend walks. These days, neither one of us are all that interested in meeting the dawn halfway...
