Hodgepodge Matter

Here I am doing another hodgepodge which is brought to you by Joyce over at http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/

Here are this week’s questions.

What's your favourite room in your house and why?

My lounge room I like sitting in my lounge room in my recliner and watch the coming and goings outside.

What's something that will instantly annoy you?

Walking into a messy kitchen first thing of a morning

May 28th is National Hamburger Day...will you celebrate? How do you like yours? If you're not cooking at home is there a favourite place you like to go for a burger? Did you ever work in a fast-food restaurant?

Never heard of National Hamburger Day, maybe that’s because I am in Australia. The best burgers are the ones my son in-law makes. No, I have never worked in a fast-food place.

What are three scents you like?

Flowers none in particular just flowers in general, Vanilla and the smell of fresh baked bread.

What do you miss most about being a kid?

Not having to worry about money.

Insert your own random thought here.

Sometimes when life feels like on long struggle we need to sit in a quiet area, close our eyes and think of the happy and easier times. Remembering that we matter and our lives have purpose.

The family room has my four favourite things in the world:
    1. computer and printer
    2. espresso machine
    3. sliding glass doors to the porch soaked in sunshine and
    4. fridge for white wine.

  2. I like seeing the comings and goings outside too although I do feel like I need a recliner, not just a basic armchair. hehehe
I had never heard of National Hamburger day, I'm in the UK but everything seems to have a special day now.
Your random thought is an important thing to remember.

    1. Yes it is nice siting in my recliner, with my feet up inside the house watching what's going on outside

  3. Glad you enjoy your lounge room. Yes, the kitchen needs to look clean in the morning for sure! Glad your son in law makes great burgers. Yes vanilla is a great scent and bread baking in the oven is another good one. I love your random thought. I need to do that. Take care.

  4. I can't stand a messy kitchen in the morning and try to be sure it's completely tidy before I go to bed. I want to see clear counters when I walk in. I forgot about bread baking. That is a wonderful scent. Hope you have a nice weekend!

    1. Yep it is really annoying when I get up and find Tim has left dirty plates and such on the bench or in the sink, the dishwasher is right there how hard is it to put the dirty dishes in it.
