The first hodgepodge for June

Hi everyone, here is the latest hodgepodge

http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/2026/02/hodgepodge-questions-volume-656.html

1.What's something you find extremely difficult that most people would say is simple?

Eating soup without spilling it all over myself

2.  "And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow fast in movies I  had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer."

~F. Scott Fitzgerald

Nope, the change in seasons don’t have much effect on me at all

Does the season of summer make you feel this way? Elaborate.

3. Pickles. Love 'em or no thank you? What's your favorite type of pickle? What's something you eat that definitely needs a pickle added?

I do not like them in any way shape or form

4. Tis the season...do you know any June brides? Are there any weddings on your summer calendar? What's your favorite movie wedding?

Nope no June brides around me but here June is the start of Summer, I can’t even think of a wedding movie.

5. June 1st is/was National Say Something Nice Day...say something nice here.

Something nice let me think, those bloggers who take the time and effort to prepare these questions and similar questions on other blogs are wonderful, but blogland has many wonderful people in it.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

If you are not happy with life at this time, I hope one day soon that will change and you realise that happiness isn’t material possessions or how much money you have. It is being kind to others and animals, not judging people as there is only one true judge. Happiness comes from within and knowing you have a good heart and treat people as you would like them to treat you.

  1. hahaha! I am the same! I don't think I have ever eaten soup without spilling it on myself and I am not a fan of pickles either. Fantastic words for question #6.

  2. I'm the same with soup and truth be told a few other foods as well. I know not to wear a white shirt if there's red sauce happening in a meal. I agree the blog world is still pretty nice : )

  4. Where we're different- I don't get that feeling from summer, but spring. Where we're the same... pickles

  5. Most people are happy and motivated in the sunny, warm seasons but depressed in cold, cloudy and wet winter months. Community depression is awful.

  6. Sorry you have trouble eating soup. Guess you need a bib. Sorry you don't like pickles. I agree with you on the bloggers who make these posts with questions for us. Love your random thought.
