Hodgepodge

Hi everyone, here is the latest hodgepodge

http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/2026/02/hodgepodge-questions-volume-654.html

What do you make more complicated than it needs to be?

I can’t think of anything but there must be something

What impresses you?

Not a lot, to be honest, I guess that my granddaughter Sydney is 16 works two jobs while going to school and has saved a nice some of money for a car.

On a scale of 1-10 how picky of an eater are you?  (1=extremely and 10=not at all) If you had to eat a meal made entirely of one colour what colour would you choose?

I am a one and have always been one

Brown because when you cook roast potatoes or chips also chocolate is brown.

What does balance in life mean to you? Does your life currently feel 'balanced'?

Balanced? Well, I guess it would be when there is nothing stressful going on in the family and I don’t feel like I am being pulled apart. Yes, my life is in balance

If you could travel the world for a year what would be your first destination?

This is easy Uluru, this a place I have always wanted to visit

Insert your own random thought here.

What is happiness?

Do you feel happy? I do feel happy

I feel happiness isn’t acting cheerful and laughing at nothing, it is more like having inner peace and not spending much time around people who drag you down and give you a headache.

  1. I agree wholeheartedly about inner peace! It’s so important to “curate” your own environment…

  2. Good on your Granddaughter, it sounds like she has her life sorted.
I had to Google where Uluru was, I didn't realise Ayers Rock had a different name now. How interesting.

  4. Well done to your granddaughter. We didn't get as far as Uluru when we visited Australia but I'm sure it's amazing. Yes finding inner peace is really important.

  5. That is very impressive of your granddaughter. Your brown items sound pretty good. I'm glad your life is balanced. I had to look Uluru up. Sounds like a nice place to visit. I'm glad you are feeling happy. I am struggling with that right now, except for when I see James!!!
