Spring Hodgepodge in Autumn

Hi all here I am taking part in 2026 hodgepodge Q & A the questions can be found here:

http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/2026/02/hodgepodge-questions-volume-644.html

Are you a naturally trusting person? Is trust built on logic or 'gut instinct'? Does everyone deserve a second chance? Elaborate.

Yes, over all I do trust people, I go on my gut instinct, and most people deserve a second chance but not everyone.

'Beware the Ides of March'...March 15th on the ancient Roman calendar, these words were made famous by William Shakespeare in his play Julius Caesar.  Caesar was assassinated on March 15th 44 B.C. Have you read any Shakespeare? If so, do you have a favorite? Have you ever been to Rome?

Nope never read anything by Shakespeare and I have never been to Rome.

Do you like a Caesar salad? If given the choice between a garden/house salad or Caesar which, do you order? Anchovies or no? What's your favorite salad dressing?

I’m not a salad person

Where do you typically work (or blog if that's easier) at home? Do you have a dedicated home office space? Are you happy with that space?

Yes, I blog at home and yes, I have my computer desk in the lounge room so I can watch TV at the same time if I want to.

Snow drops, daffodils, lenten roses, crocus, hyacinth, or early tulips...what's your favorite early Spring flower?

I think I would go with daffodils, but my favourite is carnations

Insert your own random thought here.

This week’s random thought is this quote I came across, no idea who said it but I like it.

“Relying on external validation to understand your worth is not sustainable. If you depend on people to build you up, you also give them the same power to break you down. You are worthy regardless of their opinion.”
