Welcome back to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4, who can be found here: https://lemonscottage.blogspot.com/
1. Do you play a musical
instrument?
No I do not
2. Have you taken music lessons? What kind. If not, is there one you might
enjoy learning. It is never too late to start. You might be surprised at
how accomplished it will make you feel.
As a teenager
I tried to learn to play the guitar, but I couldn’t get the hang of it
3. Is there music in your home as background to your day's activities or do you
have music playing in your car, etc.? If so, what kind of music do you enjoy
hearing?
What kind of music do you NOT like?
Hope
nothing playing in the background or in the car, I like most music, not a fan of
heavy mental or techno music
4. Do you have a favorite
composer or genre of music that you like most? Maybe you like several. Please
share with us your thoughts?
I can’t
think of a favourite composer, I really like rock and roll as well as country
music

I can't play any instruments either. I had violin lessons as a child. It was torture lol
ReplyDeleteThat's how I felt about my guitar lessons
DeleteI wish I would've taken piano lessons as a child, but I never sat still long enough. I wanted to be outside all the time. Now at 75 I don't think I could do it. But it's good to have a good appreciation for what others can do! Thank you for joining in!!
ReplyDeleteI always thought it would be cool to be able to play the piano
DeleteNo musical abilities here as well. We tried piano with my eldest and it didn't stick but my youngest is playing the clarinet it school and enjoys it.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool your youngest is playing the clarinet
DeleteI tried guitar but it hurt my fingers so much that I decided it wasn't worth it. Thanks for joining in!!
ReplyDeleteThat had a lot to do with why I didn't stick with it
DeleteI understand how hard it can be to get the hang of the guitar. I taught myself to chord but it was slow going. It didn't come naturally to me but almost everyone in my family and extended family played very well. I just played to accompany myself in singing for relaxation.
ReplyDeleteYou taught yourself something and that's cool even if you are not great at it
ReplyDeleteI don't enjoy heavy metal or techno either. Techno is just a lot of electronic noise as far as I can make out. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI got the basics of Piano at Catholic school, but that's it. No sense of timing, and not hand-brain coordination
