Drink alcohol?
Yes, I did but not a lot a couple of cans of
Southern Comfort and Cola
Try a new recipe?
Nope, don’t cook any more
Go shopping with friends?
Yes, I go shopping with Sue two or three times a
month
Eat an entire box of cookies by yourself?
Nope don’t eat much to start with and wouldn’t eat
a whole box or packet on my own.
Dye your hair?
Nope those days are long gone
ahhh alcohol! The only alcohol these days is one glass of chilled white wine with dinner. And even that is by myself because the beloved is largely teetotal.

ReplyDeleteHaven't dyed my hair since maybe some time in the 80s.
I have lived alone since the 90s basically so if I ever did buy a box of cookies I would eventually eat them by myself...just not at once or quickly.
Haven't tried a new recipe for ages. :)
Back in the young and stupid days, we had a friend who loved SoCo. Never did much for me tastewise. Hopefully yours was mixed to avoid the stickiness I always hated.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate your honesty with the answers. It sounds like you kept things pretty mellow in September, with just a couple of Southern Comfort and Cola drinks. It's lovely that you make a point of getting out to go shopping with Sue two or three times a month; those regular outings with a friend are the best.
