Here I am
doing another hodgepodge which is brought to you by Joyce over at http://www.fromthissideofthepond.com/
Here are this week’s questions.
What's an adult problem nobody prepared you for?
This is hard for me I have sat and thought about
this question for a while and I don’t know, I learnt to budget from a young age
and being the oldest I learnt about taking care of little children as a
teenager as I am 15yrs older than my youngest sister and 16yrs older than my brother.
How tuned in are you to all the recent food related health news?
Have you gotten rid of your scratched cookware? Did you pay attention to food
additives before they made the news? What's one healthy eating/cooking/food
shopping habit you need to adopt?
I am not tuned into all the food hype with this
being healthy then not being healthy and this is the way to prepare food then it’s
not. I don’t have any cookbooks use to but no idea what became of them.
What's getting worse and worse as you get older? How about
better and better?
Worse, well I know some would say the violence in
the world but not me we just hear more about the violent happenings then once
we did, so really, I am not sure.
Better, well for me it would be how easy it is to connect
with other people, to learn about the history of the world and the different
countries and such.
Are you more of an indoor person or an outdoor person?
Elaborate.
This is easy I am an indoor person always have
been well all my adult life, I aways preferred listening to music and reading
over sport stuff.
If you had an expert personal assistant today, what would you
have them do?
Clean my house
Insert your own random thought here.
“Life humbles one.
As one grows old, one stops chasing the big things and starts valuing the
little things: alone time, sufficient sleep, a healthy diet, long walks, and
quality time with loved ones.
Simplicity becomes the ultimate objective.”
Oh, I love the random thought - I agree with it. I'm just not interested in pursuing the things of even 20 years ago. Give me simplicity!
ReplyDeleteI am pleased you liked it
DeleteMy health has gotten worse over time, but the internet and connections with people all over the world and knowledge at your fingertips and a phone in my pocket--that is so much better.
ReplyDeleteI so agree
DeleteGoing through your posts, I saw a comment on one post "I don't see the point in getting drunk". On the next one of your answers was, "never had a job other than mother and grandmother". My smartass mind said, "There's a connection there..."
ReplyDeleteYou may be right, there may be a connection
ReplyDeleteI agree that having such easy access to communication and information is something that is getting better. There's so much to learn about the world! I am kind of the same as far as being an indoor person and preferring reading and music to sports - at least participating in them! Hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks I have had a good week
