September 2015

Hello September, and yes I know you are half over and I am sorry for that but I have been either to busy or lazy to write this post but I am doing it now so don't complain.

Anyway what does September mean well like most months of the year it means birthdays, starting with Hayley's she turned 3 on the 9th and then Kathy-Lee turned 30 on the 10th and Denni will also be 3 on the 15th. I know that Samantha had a party for Hayley but I didn't attend, wasn't invited but that is ok I am not bothered by that and Sandra is having a family party for Denni next weekend which I will attend.

I had a party for Kathy-Lee yesterday, there was about 16 people here from both sides of her family, as in her side and her partner Michael's side, as I invited his parents and brother and sister in-law, his brother couldn't attend as he is away working.

Michael had gone away camping but it was only 45 minutes away and after Natasha told him off and his parents said something to him he decided he would come back from camping to attend and the whole thing was a surprise for Kathy.

Although she did say at one point she had wondered why I had made so much food and why dad (Tim) had cleaned the lounge room, and by clean I mean he took everything and dumped it in either the spare room or his room/office.

Everyone seemed to have a good time and of course there was plenty of food, as I was up at 6.30am I went for a walk and bought bread and shredded ham they didn't have diced bacon and after returning home I made a potato bake and a chicken and bacon pasta bake along with home made fried rice, snags and of course bacon.

There of course was cake this cake in fact and it tasted pretty good I bought it from a local supermarket that does cakes so it was both nice and affordable.

Also in September is Tim and mine 31st wedding anniversary so that is September in my family.

August 2015

Been a while since I have done a post here, I had decided to not do any more newsletters but  have changed my mind and decided I will do a post here at the start of each month starting with this month.

Since the last newsletter we have an another addition to the family with the birth of Kelsi Jayne who was born on the 7th May 2014 she is the first child of Kirsty and Jacob.

This year I have gone back to having a grandchild staying here many nights a week, Blain is here often from Monday to Friday nights except for Tuesday night when he stays at his place with Jessica and Leo, Jessica goes home after Natasha gets home from work. We also have Leo here at least one night a week usually Saturday night, this is because Jessica wants to have a break from Leo.

The reason I have Blain is because Natasha is working Monday to Friday at night as a cleaner, she doesn't like the night work and would love to be able to find some kind of day work but she is at least happy to have a job.  If Jonathon isn't working he will have Blain but since he is a security guard working nights and he also doesn't live local any more so he only has Blain when it is possible.

Blain is missing is mummy and daddy and wishes he could see them more, Natasha only gets to see him of a morning before he goes to school, she always takes him to school so she can spend so time with him each day. Of a weekend if he isn't going his fathers he spends time with his mum, it is hard for him to adjust but he is getting there.

When he is here Blain sleeps in/on my arm chair since he has started doing this we decided to get rid of the old mattress that was on the floor in the spare room. at some point we will get another bed or maybe a lounge for that room. However, it isn't high on our list of things to do.

At the end of the month the 23rd exactly Tim and I will be going back to New Zealand for a weeks holiday this time we are going to fly into Christchurch and see the bottom half of the South Island.  Tim keeps telling me that it is going to be bloody cold this I know and for whatever reason I am not concerned about that I will deal when we get there. This will be our 3rd trip to New Zealand and I never wanted to go there to start with and now I am looking forward to our third trip there.

First Newsletter of 2014 part 1

A New Year A New Me

Yes it is a new year and in fact we are five months into the year and I am only just starting to think about a new newsletter but what the hell my life is so bloody busy that it is amazing at times I remember to do anything other than what it expected of me day in and day out.

This year I decided to try and lose weight, I wanted to lose around 20 kilos by the time Tim and I go to Hawaii in September, at the start of the year I was 103.7 kilos and my aim was to get down to around 80-83 kilos, hell it still is and so far I am doing ok it is slow going but the weight is coming off.

I started walking again at the start of the year, the first day I went out I found it really hard to get to the end of the street but I stuck with it walking around the block but it really took a lot out of me. I am still walking and have increased the distance I walk so I am happy, I intend to stick with it. I am now down to around 95 kilos.

Diabetes and Me

As some in the family know I have had problems with my diabetes this year, my BGL's have been up in the teens often it was around 14 when I got up of a morning and for those who do not know it should have been around 4-5, after eating my BGL would often go up to as high as 18 it should have been around 8.

I went to the GP who wasn't sure what to do so he referred me to see a specialist at the Royal, the GP was thinking of starting me on a drug called Byetta but wasn't sure if I should continue taking the Diamicron and Junvia or if I should stop one of them.

Anyway I saw the specialist on the 11th April and he started me on a drug called Victoza which is like Byetta but you only take the Victoza once a day the Byetta will need to be taken twice a day. I have to take the Victoza for a month and keep a record of my food intake and my BGL's and when I go back he will decided if I should start the Byetta or not.

Since I have been on the Victoza my BGL's have been better still not normal but better usually between 8-11. Also the Victoza has an appetite suppressant in it and I am eating less as I am just not that hungry most of the time.

On the Job Front

What can I say about jobs, well I still don't have one that pays but other people in the family do such as Jessica she has a job now driving special needs children to and from school for Newcastle Limousines, she likes the job.

Tim is still driving buses for Hunter Valley Buses although he still isn't on full time or permanent much to is annoyance.

Natasha is still looking for work as a hairdresser but other then that I know nothing since she doesn't tell me much about her life.

Kathy is still working at the service station but has been studying child care, she wants to work in child care at some point, she has finished her on line studying and now has to do her work placement which is like work experience as she doesn’t get paid to do it she has to do 120 hours of work placement.

Jono is still working in security but would rather get into youth work remind you of anyone.

Michael lost his job earlier in the year and has been trying to get his own business up and running he has a web site which can be found here: http://www.tekdoffwebsolutions.com.au/

I know things have been hard for both Kathy-Lee & Michael and I know that Kathy has often been worried about money and mummy wishes she could do more to help them.

Houses & Homes

Do you have a home? Sounds like a simple of course I do question right, however, not all in the family have their own home. Sue was lucky to find a place of her own in December moving into a flat in Charlestown on Charlestown Road in the same block of flats that Kathy-Lee lived in when she first moved out of home it is a small one bedroom flat but it her own place and she is happy to have a place at long last.

Kelli has been homeless for over a year now and has been living with me and Tim since last October and I have to say I have liked having her with us although she is now looking again for a place.

Recently she has been staying at her mums flat while Sue has been in Queensland with Kirsty have to say the house is very quiet without her here. I have been missing her and Daemon something fierce.

Babies and Toddlers

In our family there always seems to be a new baby coming along, and this year is no different, Kirsty is due to have her first child any time now and Sue is in Queensland with her awaiting the birth of what will be her 5th grandchild. Kirsty has decided to name her baby girl Kelsi Eve.
The family is full of toddlers and preschool children as well with the terrible trio who all will be starting school next year can you believe they are all 4 years old now. All so different and all so the same at the same time.

Then we have Daemon who is now 2 he loves to play with his brother Blain and his cousin Leo when those three boys are together they are a hand full and will often be running amok. Daemon also loves to play with his cousin Summer when she is here with me.

Summer who was the baby of the family is now 1 year old and such a daddies girl, she seems to me to prefer males, she loves her papa and prefers him over nanna any time. Also Summer doesn't like Jessica much for some strange reason she will cry whenever she see Jessica, honestly as soon as Jessica looks at her she will start crying.

Other Children

Now let's move onto some of the other children in the family.

Isabel is now turning 10 and she into Monster High and loom bands.

Holley is now 8 and she is into lala loopsy and Adventure Time then we have,

Lenny who is turning 5 this year and he is still into wrestling and likes Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Leo is now 6 and he also loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Adventure Time he loves Transformers he is growing up so much but he still loves his nanna and papa and loves to come here once a week,

Moving onto Blain his is still “my Blain” but he often doesn't like to come over for the night, he gets bored and wants to go home but he likes to come for a visit and stay for a while then go home. Blain is now 8 turning 9 this year.

Sandra's step son Zac has been living with her and his dad a bit this year and has even come to Friday breakfast a few times it has been nice to see him. He loves his little sisters so much and it is so plain to see when he is around them.

Dawson is now 15 wow where has the time gone I can remember when he was born, he of course still lives with his nanna and pop and goes still to Wakefield school 5 days a week and he loves spending time with his little cousins Temika & Denni and adores his little sister Liarna and his little brother Landon.

I am sure I have forgotten some children but hell there are so many I can't be blamed for forgetting one or two.

Newsletter Christmas Edition

Happy holidays from our family to yours!
Well another year is drawing to a close, and that means and end of year newsletter from yours truly.  There have been births, and baby news and moving of homes and becoming homeless for some. It has been a good year, a hard year and a so so year for some.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my family a great Christmas and a happy and safe New Years.

Babies & Milestones
As all know in February of this year I became a grandmother for the 4th time with the birth of Summer Dawn.

Recently Kirsty & Jacob discovered they were going to become parents next May and for those who do not know they are having a little girl.  This will be the 5th grandchild for Sue.

Denni & Hayley reached a milestone with their first birthdays back in September, how the time fly’s by.

It seems that each year I our family grows in number.
9k
The matriarch and patriarch of the family now have 17 grandchildren and 9 great –grandchildren.
Do you know who should have a baby Tina she would make a great mother.

Moving homes and being homeless

This year Kathy-Lee and Michael have bought a house out at Maryland, with the help of his parents.
Sue has moved in with Tina & Tyler again, just so she cannot be living with her parents at 44yrs of age.
Kelli & Daemon tried living with Jono at his mums place but it didn’t work out and she has been left homeless. Recently she went to Queensland to visit Kirsty and Jacob for a bit over 3 weeks. She was going to stray with Heather & Paul but that didn’t work out.

So most of the time she is either here with me and Uncle Tim or with Jessica.

I wonder why it has to be so hard for a person to find a place of their own, so many places are out of the reach of many they cost so much and there is often a lot of people applying for the place. Sue has been trying to find a place of her own to rent with no luck either.

Then we have Jessica who would like a transfer to a place closer to me and her dad.

Also recently Sandra was offered a Dept of Housing place in Windale but she turned it down as she said she wouldn’t feel safe living there. I hope she doesn’t have to wait very long to get offered another place.

Vaughan has broken up with his girlfriend Hope so I wonder if he is going to be looking for somewhere new to live. I would think it would be awkward to still live in the same house as an ex.

Child Care

Well for those who do not know Kathy –Lee is studying child care now she wants to work in child care; in fact she has wanted to work in child care since Sydney-May was born.  She is doing the course online and is still working at the petrol station 3 days a week. Next year she will be doing her work placement at Sydney’s day care.

Next year Summer will also go into day care but a different day care from Sydney as the place Sydney goes to is full up and do not have room for her. This means I will not have Summer next year and yes I will miss her but at the same time I do think it will be good for her to be around other children her age.

Kelli would also like to get Daemon into day care one or two days a week so he get mix with kids his own age as well.

Let’s move onto preschool, well the day cares that Sydney, Temika and Liarna go to double as preschool’s so they will not have to change places to attend preschool. However , Lenny has not gone to day care so next year he will be starting preschool. This is a big thing for Heather  her baby boy is off to preschool and before she knows it he will be off to big school.  His preschool is just down the road from their house and just across the road from his sister’s school.

This year was Little Leo’s first year of big school, it was a rough start for him took him a while to settle in but he is doing much better now. Although Jessica would like to move closer to me and if that happens it will mean Leo having to start a new school all over again next year. It would be better for Jessica to be close to me when she gets a job as  then I may have to take him to school and pick him up of an afternoon.

The Job Front

On the job front we have Tim still trying to get on full time at work, he has now been knocked back around 7 or 8 times.

Leigh this year changed jobs she is now working in aged care and as far as I know she loves it. She just got fed up with the last job and felt it was time for a change.

Jessica got her drivers authority this year, she would love to drive buses like her dad but it costs around $1000 to upgrade her licence and she doesn’t have that type of money.

How about a hair do

Everyone in the family knows that Natasha has had a way with hair since she was a child, well this year she decided to do a hair dressing course at Tafe.

Of course she passed the course and has been trying to get an apprenticeship without any luck if she doesn’t find one she will do another level of hairdressing next year.

This year she did styling and dying and had different family members in as models.

Most of the family has thought she would make a great hairdresser.

Let’s say “I do”

On the 10th of August after many years and three children together Heather and Paul became Mr & Mrs Lanesbury. The wedding was held in their back yard and what a wedding it was wonderful the bride looked so beautiful. It was a very relaxed casual wedding and has to say this aunty enjoyed herself. The girls Isabel & Holley looked so pretty and Lenny was very smart. The food was prepare by Kelli and it was bloody good, the cake was prepared by someone else don’t know who but can tell you it was yummy. I hope they have many wonderful years ahead of them.

                           A WEDDING IN THE FAMILY

We have had a wedding in our family recently my beautiful niece Heather married her long time partner Paul in a simple ceremony at their home. Heather looked gorgeous in her dress which she got from City Chic. Heather was given away by her father Rex.

Isabel and Holley, looked so pretty and Lenny looked very handsome in his pants, shirt and vest. Paul also looked quite smart in his pants, shirt and vest father and son were a matching pair.

The whole wedding was great it was a very relaxed day and it was great to see the children running around playing and because it was held at their home it was easy for their children to go in and get changed out of their wedding clothes after the ceremony and photos were over. It was one of the best weddings I have ever attended.

When Jono and Kelli arrived and I noticed they had Blain with them I became all chocked up with emotion, I also had a little cry during the ceremony................or my eyes started to water.........
which ever sounds better...............lol

                                      Health Problems

There  have been some health problems in the family recently, starting with my mum who had to have a hysterectomy to days before Heather's wedding, which is why her and dad did not attend the wedding. Mum's recovery has been ok she has had a lot of trouble walking around and doing things but is improving at this stage she still isn't driving  and still cannot lift heavy things.

Last week me and Sandra had to do her monthly shopping for her as there was no way she would had been able to wonder around the store for an hour or more. In fact I enjoyed doing the shopping with Sandra.

Now let's move onto dad, he had a bad turn a couple of weeks ago, it was a Friday morning and he was very disorientated and incoherent and my sisters who saw him were worried about him. It had started the night before and if mum hadn't been unwell herself they may have called an ambulance for him but they didn't and in fact he would not go to hospital. I was worried because the symptoms pointed to another mini stroke and I felt they should had taken him to hospital.

Anyway he went and saw Andrew (GP) that afternoon who sent him to the hospital for an chest xray which showed he had a bad chest infection and he had to take antibiotics. He is doing much better now but I am still concerned, I do not know if mum told Andrew about how disorientated and incoherent he was on the day.

I know that dad is worried that if he tells Andrew how bad he gets in terms of being disorientated at times that they may take his licence off him. However he doesn't do a lot of driving any more, most of the time it is mum who drives and I do understand that he likes having his licence and all but he has to think about his health first. His licence isn't going to do him any good if he has a stroke and becomes unable to move.

Now let's move onto my beautiful sweetheart Kelli who only last week was rushed to hospital with appendicitis and had to have her appendices out. She was discharged from hospital the following day and has been in a lot of pain since, thankfully I have heard that Jono has been wonderful in taking care of her. Daemon has been staying with either Jessica or Heather while Kelli is recovering as there is no way she would be able to care for him as she would not be able to lift him for a few weeks to come.
                                     My Grandchildren

I know I am lucky that I get to see my grandchildren a lot sometimes I have moments though that I miss "My Blain" only at times, I understand that he doesn't often want to come and have a a sleep over at my house, he will often prefer to come for a visit and then go home after a couple of hours and I get that. I just get a little upset when his mum tries to make him spend the night if it isn't what he wants to do then don't force him.

Of course we see Little Leo pretty much every week, I have had a few times when I have had to tell Jessica I was not up to having him as I was feeling unwell and wanted to go to bed early and didn't want to have worry about him.

He has settled into school more now and is having  speech therapy to help him with his speech,  Jessica is terrible at getting him to do his homework, I have done it with him and I know it isn't easy and I could only spend 10 minutes working on it with him but that is better then nothing.

Sydney-May is doing really good at swimming and can now swim without a bubble for a short distance and she is still loving it. I am so proud of Kathy for taking her to swimming lessons for so long I know it hasn't been easy money wise.

Summer is now starting to crawl dragging herself along the ground on her tummy.

I am watching Summer every Wednesday and Thursday while Kathy is working and have to say I love having her most of the time the days go pretty fast, it feels like she is dropped off and in no time Kathy is picking her up again.

                   Coming Birthdays & a Anniversary

We have a few birthdays coming up in the next month starting with Hayley who will be 1 and then Kathy who will be 28, then we have Denni also turning 1.

The on the 22nd we have my wedding anniversary, Tim and I have been married 29yrs this year.

The Latest Family Newsletter

         Summer Dawn My latest grandchild

                                                   She was Born at 8.05am

                                                   Weighing 7lb3oz & was

                                                    52cm’s long just like her

                                                           Aunty Tasha

I was awaken at 2.20am on Thursday the 21st February by my mobile ringing by the time I managed to get out of bed and find it, the ringing had stopped and I thought bloody hell now I am going to have to find my glasses and ring them back because we all know you do not get phone calls at that time of the morning for no reason. Before I had a chance to do that it rang again and this time I was able to answer it, it was Michael (Kathy’s partner) telling me that she was in labour but only 5cm’s dilated and he would let me know more later.  So I go back to bed and what happens the phone rings again 10 minutes latter this time it is Kathy reminding me that I would have to pick Sydney-May up and take her to day care that morning……….like I would forget but moving on. I go back to bed and it took ages for me to get back to sleep anyway after I took Sydney to day care I went to home and rang the hospital they put me through to Kathy’s room and I was told by a midwife she wasn’t taking calls at the moment I knew what that meant she was busy having bubs………I rang at around 8.05am and that was the time Summer was born………ok let’s move onto a bit later in the morning it was 8.45am and I hadn’t heard anything so I sent Michael a text asking what was happening and he rang me and told me that Summer Dawn was born at 8.05am.I didn’t get to see her till Friday as I Kathy
didn’t really want any visitors on Thursday. I sent Kathy and Michael some balloons instead of flowers which was a surprise for Kathy.

                                    Life

Do you have a good life? Do you realise life is what you make it, sometimes I hear people complain that their life is not good and things are always going wrong for them or that they feel they are being unfairly treated by love ones. However I feel that if you look at things from someone else’s view point you may realise that they feel the way they do because you are forever complaining that life keeps dealing you a shit hand. So stop complaining and take a deep breath tell yourself you are a good person and have a loving family who love you warts and all, even if they do not always like the things you do or the way you act. For you to feel positive and get a high out of life you need think positive be loving and be responsible for your own screw ups, remember we all screw up at some point just most of us don’t dwell on it and do not blame anyone else. NO sister this is not directed at you but YES I was thinking about you when I started to write this.

                               Sister’s

                                                   Written by Heather Lanesbury

This was written by my niece Heather about her relationship with her sister Kirsty I loved it so thought I would share it.

The story of two very different sisters: One is here, one lives there.  One is a little taller than the other.

Two different colours of hair, two different outlooks on life, two very different views from their windows.  Both have different tomorrows ahead....

Each is unique in so many ways. Each has her own story, with all the busy things going on in the present. Each has different work to do and different demands on the day. Each has a separate destination and a different path to get there. But...............

For all the things that might be different and unique about them…….These two sisters will always share so much. They will always be the best of family and friends, entwined together, through all the days of their lives....

Their love will always be very special: gentle and joyful when it can be, strong and giving when it needs to be, reminding them, no matter how different their stories turn out..... They share the incredibly precious gift of being "sisters". And when you think of some of the best things this world has to offer, a blessing like that is really...... What it's all about.

                                                       TRAVELLING AND ME
The last 6 months has seen me do a bit of travelling starting with a trip to New Zealand’s North Island last November, this was a surprise for me from Tim for my 50th birthday. He wasn’t going to tell me till my birthday but as it turned out he couldn’t contain himself and ended up telling me in October. Anyway I loved the holiday we had a great time it was one of the best holidays I have had in a long time.

Then in April Tim & I went away with Jessica and Leo first we went to Wellington……….yes Wellington but the Wellington in NZ but the place out near Dubbo and visited the Wellington Caves and have to say WOW what great caves well worth the visit. We then went on to Dubbo where we visited the Old Goal first then onto the caravan park for the night followed by a trip to the zoo the following day. We all had a great time we spent 5 ½ hours at the zoo before heading home but for some reason Tim thought it would be good to come home via Bathurst although we ended up staying at Orange as he was buggered by the time we got to Orange.
My next holiday was in May this time we went back to New Zealand but to the South Island this time and again we did a self-drive holiday our first night was spent in Wellington we flew into Wellington and flew out of Christchurch. Anyway as I said we spent our first night it Wellington then we took the Interisland ferry over to the South Island, when we arrived the travel agent had said she would arrange transfers for us from the airport to the motel but she didn’t and we had to find out own way there, Tim did find one of the airport transfer companies that would take us from the airport to the motel. The flight over was good we flew this time with Qantas and it was better than Air New Zealand as Qantas supplied as with breakfast I had scrambled eggs and bacon and Tim had corn flakes and both meals came with a bread roll and yogurt and orange juice and of course you could have tea or coffee. The bacon and eggs tasted pretty good.

                                                                  Little Leo
As everyone knows my little Leo started school this year and I can’t say it got off to the best start, but things are improving for him and Jessica. He is on medication now to help control his behaviour and we have no problem with him taking the medication which was a worry for both his mum and me.  During this year I am endeavoring to reduce the amount of nights he stays with me and papa, I am also trying to make time for Blain to come over but Blain doesn’t really want to come over for the night as often as Leo he likes to come for a visit but then wants to go home for the night. This I believe is because after a while he gets bored here as he isn’t like Leo and doesn’t want to just sit around watching cartoons for hours he prefers to play his Xbox. I know that Natasha doesn’t always want him to sit around playing his Xbox but she is the one who bought him one and she is the mother and when he is there if she doesn’t want him playing the Xbox then she should be finding him other things to do.  I don’t know how often he goes outside to play when he is with his parents but when he is here he likes to play outside for ages it is when he has to come inside that he wants to go home.  In fact the last time he was here he was surprised that I said he could go and play with some of the other kids out the front. I love having my grandchildren here but only if they want to be here. Speaking of wanting to be here lately Leo has been crying and not wanting to stay and I have told Jessica if he is going to get that upset then I do not want to force him to stay.

                                        YOU’RE WELCOME or OPEN DOOR/HOUSE

I have some really generous daughters they have opened their house to others allowing this friend or another to come and stay with them while they looked for their own place. I do not know how they do it I don’t think I would be able to do it myself, sharing your home with friends can really test a friendship in my opinion. Sometimes those staying with you may forget that it is your home they are in and act like it is their home and yes you may want your friend to feel at home but where do you draw the line. This can be worst if the friend doesn’t have children and you do, as children are loud, ask a million questions can be demanding, like to slam doors, run up and down stairs and may not always remember to flush…………then there is the subject of discipline do you allow those staying with you to discipline your child or not and if they do so without your permission what do you do.

Many friendships have not withstood the house sharing experience now we all know that when it comes to friends I have none so this is not a problem I would face………………..lol For all those who read this and think but you did do this Jo-Anne yes you are right I did do, would I do it again I don’t think so, was it a bad experience when I did it, not really.

                                    LIVING WITH PARENTS AGAIN

I am 50yrs old as everyone knows and I can tell you that I haven’t lived with my parents since I was 21 and I would not like to do it again, not because I have any problem with my parents but because as not only an adult but a middle aged woman I have become set in my ways. Also mum and dad are set in their ways and it isn’t easy for adult children to live with their parent, just look at Sue she tried it and it failed not because mum and dad are impossible to live with or that she is impossible to live with but because in my opinion they are all adults set in their ways. Sue being the “child” would end up expecting the “parents” to do things for her to take care of her if you will and Sue may say that wasn’t so I don’t know but I do know it was how mum felt.

Also when you are an adult you have your own mind and opinions that such that may not be the same as your parents which could cause clashes between you  which is why I think it is the norm for children to grow up leave home and make their own way in the world.

However that said it is bloody hard now days for so many people to be out on their own, finding an affordable rental property can be bloody hard, it can be harder still when you have a bad rental history or if you are trying to survive on a Centrelink payment like Sue is. The poor woman gets a pittance amount from Centrelink really not enough to survive on in fact many rental places would take up most of her money for rent which is why it is so bloody hard for her to get somewhere.

                                                                  HOMELESS

I am lucky I have never been homeless, I have never felt like I had nowhere to go or no one  I could count on but some members of my family are not so lucky such as my sister Sue and her daughter Kelli……………………..Sue has been staying with mum and dad again because she cannot find somewhere to live and she has been looking and she has been applying for places but because she is only on a Centrelink payment she keeps getting rejected which is just so unfair and wrong.

Kelli and Jono have been staying with Jessica but they have to move as her house inspection is coming up and she needs them out by then and they also have had one thing after another go wrong eating into their savings and such and both are faced with being homeless. It is just so wrong that it is so hard to find a place to live. Of course it isn’t just Kelli & Jono they have their two boys as well Blain and Daemon.

I have asked Tim if Kelli & Daemon could come here but he doesn’t really want anyone but him and me living here now as he is use to how the house feels with just him and me in it.

  MOVEING HOME

From being homeless to moving home, well not exactly as I am talking about a different person, this time it is Kathy-Lee and family yes my eldest daughter is moving house. Michael’s parents have bought a house in Maryland for them so they will be moving at the end of the month, Kathy said it had something to do with the fact his parents don’t like the area of Windale they are living in and wanted to help them out. Of course Kathy & Michael will be the ones paying the mortgage. I have not seen the new house although Tim has taken a drive out to Maryland to have a look at the place, he said it has really step driveway which I had heard Kathy say before and there is supposed to be a park not far from the house.

Because they are now going to be buying a house Kathy has increased her hours at work and will now be working 3 days a week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and I will be watching Summer on Wednesday and Thursday for her and Natasha & Jenny (Michael’s mum) will take turns watching her of Fridays but I have said if Kathy is ever short of a baby sitter on Friday I will of course take her.

I may not be good for much but I can watch children, in fact while they are moving I will watch the girls for them as that is about all I am good for. However I think that is a big help as not having children under foot while moving house is a good thing.

GROWING FAMILY
Now incase people haven’t realised because they have been living under a rock……………………..our family is forever growing mum and dad now have 5 children, 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who would have thought our family would get so large………………….me and mum have spoken at times about how large my nana’s family is but we are not sure. We do know that she has 15 grandchildren but no idea how many great grandchildren let alone great great grandchildren but it must be a bloody lot.

                     FOLLOWING IN HER FATHER’S STEPS
Who you wonder, well Jessica that is who, she has recently got her D A which means Driver’s Authority so she can now drive passenger carrying vehicles with up to `12 passengers such as mini buses and next she wants to upgrade her licence so she can become a bus driver like her dad.
I can tell you this has made her dad so proud and he has even managed to get approval to teach her how to drive a bus using one of the buses at work.  He has also sort out who could sign off on her ability to drive a bus, in some ways he has been a bit pushy with her but it is only because he is so proud and excited about her becoming a bus driver.
Jessica is the daughter less like Tim well I think so, I feel she is more like me then her dad, Natasha is the daughter most like her dad and Kathy well she is a mixture of both of us. Although Jessica and Tim can and do clash at times but then so does Natasha and Tim, I am the one who clashes with Kathy-Lee.

                                            CHANGING JOBS
Recently my sister in-law Leigh decided she had, had enough of the problems at work and quit so now she is looking for a new job. I don’t think she will have much trouble finding a different job a person has to be happy at work if you find yourself feeling stressed and feeling like someone is out to cause trouble for you then you don’t need to be there.
Tim went through that when he was at Charlestown Canvas years ago and I ended up telling him to just quit it wasn’t worth the stress the job was causing him as he would come home stressed and in a mood.
